We Can Improve Our Nutrition by Bruce Neale

There are many easy ways that we can improve our nutrition. Having a variety of food helps us get sufficient nutritional value.
If we are fortunate enough to live somewhere where the food quality is good, we may simply have to think about the nutritional value of the food available to us and have enough variety to cover what we need.
If we cook most of our own meals, we are also in a good position to improve our nutrition. Most recipies include ingredients that we simply do not need for good nutrition. Try reducing these over a period of time
Many ingredients are there to add flavour and make cooking easier. Often a simple recipe will taste great, simply because you are tasting what it is, rather than trying to enhance the flavour.
If we rely on others to provide sufficient nutritional value in our food, it may be more difficult. The first step is always the same – learning which foods have nutritional value for us.
If this is all completely new to you – don’t give up just yet. If you don’t understand why nutrition is important to you – consider one thing. We are what we eat.
So what would you like to be? Would you like to have more energy? Would you like to be less likely to have allergic reactions, to brush off influenza, to avoid debilitating diseases later on in life?
Don’t believe that it is possible to minimize all these simply by taking a litle more care with what we eat?
Would you believe that its possible to lose all your excess weight, simply by eating food with nutritional value and doing some exercise?
While we all need to eat and drink to live, why not change what we eat to get the maximum benefit from it?
Good nutrition is simply a matter of using what we eat to benefit our body, rather than causing problems for ourselves in the future.
